Ten Things

ten things I am loving right now:

1. Loving the Spring Wildflowers that have bloomed.
2. Watching my Hubby, Chuck, play the role of the Rabbi, in Synagogue School at Vacation Bible School this week.

3. I am loving watching the children at Vacation Bible School, learning new rituals and crafts .

4. My roses are just full and beautiful this year.

5. I am enjoying my sewing again. I have made approx. 45 outfits for Vacation Bible School this year. We are using the program from www.goup.com/vbs "Groups Holy Land Adventure". This year we are visiting "Jerusalem Marketplace- Where Jesus Walked to the Cross." The outfits that the children above and the Rabbi are wearing, I made those out fits.

6. The clouds have been just beautiful after VBS on the way home. We stopped on the way home Monday night so that I could get these pics. This is only 2 of the many that I did take, others will be seen soon in a new post.

7. I am loving the time Chuck and I are spending in the Hot Tub.

8. The long walks we take with our pets, Kylee- German Shepherd and Hollie- Dachshund. We love our pets.

9. I love working on my Summer Art Journal that Teresa McFayden is teaching this Summer.

10. I love anything crafty. I made this cute box for the Monday Mix Media challenge a few weeks ago.

Thanks SouleMama for the challenge. You can go over to her site to see what she listed. What 10 things are you loving right now.....Tag Paula its your turn.

This was fun, thanks for stopping by.

Warm Spring Walks

My Husband, Chuck and I, love going on long warm Spring walks in the evenings. (sorry this isn't a good pic, I tried taking one of us on a walk early this spring, it was a sunny cool spring afternoon....) When we go on walks we take our babies along with us.

The Shepherd is Chuck's baby, Kylee and the Dachshund is my baby girl, Hollie. She gets chilled real easy so early this Spring she had to wear her coat.

Today was really nice though, we were able to walk without our jackets and the dogs loved to run and romp as we went for our walk. We could hear the Red wing Blackbirds singing in the fields.(wish I could of gotten closer to them they were so beautiful.)

Even our neighbors cattle were in the pasture enjoying the beautiful Spring afternoon. They were eating the fresh green grass as we passed by. There were several little calves kicking their heels up.

Hope you are able to enjoy the warm Spring days around your home.

Love,

Debxx

Springtime Pictures

In the Garden is the Monthly Challenge for May on the The Artistic Stampers Blog. The beautiful Scalloped Die Cut paper is from my RAK from WILNA....I love it. (Thanks again Wilna)

I stamped the stems and leaves using the "Flower" collection by Rhonna Farrer. I also used the same set of stamps to stamp the flowers onto felt and then I cut them out. The Daisy's are from the Wright's Ribbon -Venice Daisy Series. I then attached the buttons to the centers of the felt flowers.

I stamped Spring with Karen Foster Snap Stamps - Small Formal set. I think they will be my favorite stamp I have...you just arrange your words together snap them together and then stamp...really easy. I used Ruby Color Box Pigment Brush Pad on the stamp.

I added paper flowers and brads to the top of the page. Also around the mat under the pictures I used my "Lace" style scissors to give it a soft edge.

The spring pictures were taken this Spring as the earth came back to life.

TFL,

Deb
